The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has confirmed that Malam Nasiru El-Rufai, the former Governor of Kaduna State, is currently in the custody of the Commission as of the close of business on Wednesday, 18th February 2026.
Malam El-Rufai’s detention is part of ongoing investigations being conducted by the ICPC. Further details will be disclosed as the investigation progresses.
