The Commander General and National Coordinator of the Citizen Joint Tactical Formation (CJTF-TF) Nigeria, Tanimu Shehu Suleiman, has received the Peace Ambassador and Philanthropist of the Year 2026 Award of Excellence for his contributions to community peacebuilding, grassroots security and humanitarian development.
The award was presented to him by the management of Almannar Private School, Jos, on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
The school’s Director, Alhaji Aliyu Abdullahi Usman, popularly known as Alhaji Sabo, formally conferred the honour on the CJTF-TF Commander General in recognition of his commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence, youth mentorship and community development.
Speaking after receiving the award, Tanimu Shehu Suleiman expressed appreciation to the school’s management for recognising his contributions, describing the honour as an encouragement to sustain efforts towards promoting peace, security and humanitarian services.

He said the recognition would further motivate members of CJTF-TF Nigeria to strengthen their commitment to community safety and development.
The Commander General also reaffirmed the organisation’s readiness to collaborate with educational institutions, community stakeholders and recognised security agencies towards promoting lasting peace, safety and orderliness.
