Motorists and Keke Napep drivers traveling within and outside Plateau State have raised serious complaints, calling on the Plateau State Government to urgently intervene over the alleged harassment by officials of the Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO).

According to the affected road users, the situation is most severe along the Miyango Junction Roundabout through to the Old Airport road, where VIO operatives are said to be stopping vehicles and tricycles indiscriminately, leading to delays, intimidation, and hardship for drivers.
Our source further disclosed that the Head of Operations overseeing the exercise is allegedly a Level 14 VIO officer identified as Alheri.
Motorists and Keke Napep drivers are appealing to the state government and relevant authorities to investigate the allegations, ensure professionalism, and put an end to what they describe as unnecessary harassment on major roads.Motorists and Keke Napep drivers traveling within and outside Plateau State have raised serious complaints, calling on the Plateau State Government to urgently intervene over the alleged harassment by officials of the Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO).
