The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially declared Hon. Napoleon Ukalikpe of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Ahoada East Constituency II by-election in Rivers State. Ukalikpe secured a landslide victory with a total of 3,980 votes, following an election where key opposition parties, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), failed to submit candidates.
