Governor Caleb Mutfwang marked his 61st birthday by highlighting key achievements and ongoing projects aimed at improving the lives of people in Plateau State.
Rather than celebrations, the governor focused on impactful initiatives in education, water supply, road construction, and strengthening traditional institutions.
In the education sector, his administration has invested heavily in revitalizing schools, improving infrastructure, and supporting teachers. Hundreds of classrooms have been built and renovated, boreholes provided, and learning materials distributed. Funding issues affecting schools have also been addressed, with support from the Universal Basic Education Commission helping to restore quality education in the state.
On water supply, the government is upgrading key facilities, including the rehabilitation of treatment plants and expansion of distribution networks, to ensure residents—especially in Jos and surrounding areas—have access to clean and reliable water.
