A group of political supporters in Bauchi State has launched a citizens-driven movement known as Kaura Force, aimed at mobilising grassroots participation in politics and reaffirming support for Governor Bala Mohammed.
The group made the declaration during a press conference in Bauchi, where members outlined the objectives of the movement and pledged continued backing for the governor’s leadership.
Speaking at the event, the Commissioner for Natural Resources, Mohammed Maiwada, said the initiative was established to promote civic engagement and encourage citizens to actively participate in democratic processes.
Maiwada described Governor Mohammed as a visionary leader whose administration has focused on development, inclusive governance and empowerment of the people of Bauchi State.
According to him, the government has recorded progress in key sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare and youth empowerment, while also promoting religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence across the state.
Also speaking, a representative of the movement, Mr Seth Francis, reaffirmed the group’s loyalty to the governor, describing him as a leader who values merit and gives opportunities to individuals regardless of ethnic or religious background.

He said members of the Kaura Force movement felt compelled to support the governor in recognition of what they described as his inclusive leadership style.
Francis added that the group would continue mobilising support for the governor and defending the achievements of his administration, noting that the movement would align with any political decision taken by the governor in the future.
The group further pledged to promote unity, stability and development across Bauchi State through grassroots political mobilisation.
